As a Theater Usher, you’ll ensure that every guest attending our main stage performances feels welcomed, informed, and inspired. You’ll be the first face patrons see before the curtain rises, and the helping hand that guides them to their seats. With your presence, the magic of live performance begins before the show even starts.
Responsibilities:

Assist with check-in as patrons arrive at PACE Interactive

Greet guests warmly and help guide them to their seats

Distribute programs and share helpful information about the performance schedule

Answer questions and offer directions to other event attractions as needed

Encourage donations and support for the arts through friendly conversation

Help keep the theater space clean, safe, and organized before, during, and after the show
What to Expect:

You’ll receive a day-of briefing and printed performance information to assist with guest questions

This is a guest-facing role, ideal for volunteers who are friendly, calm, and enjoy helping others

You’ll remain mostly stationed within or near the theater, with some standing and walking throughout your shift

Food will be available before your shift and during breaks
Dress Code:

All black attire: shirt, pants (or dress), socks, and shoes

No visible logos or colored designs, minimal jewelry
