Step into the world of visual storytelling at the grand opening of the 3rd annual New Masters exhibition, featuring the medium of photography on Friday, May 24th, at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center. The excitement commences with a reception at 6:30 PM, followed by remarks at 7:00 PM.

Experience the artistry of over 40 professional photographers as they unveil their unique perspectives through stunning imagery. From breathtaking landscapes to intimate scenes and photojournalism, each photograph has been carefully selected by a discerning jury for its narrative depth and technical excellence, promising a gallery filled with compelling stories and evocative moments.

The highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the photograph chosen for inclusion in the permanent collection at PACE. Witness the unveiling of the selected masterpiece, a testament to the power of photography to capture the essence of our world. The winning photographer will not only join the ranks of esteemed artists in the collection but also receive a prize of $2,500 and the prestigious PACE Gold Medal.

Additionally, all showcased photographs will be available for purchase, offering guests the opportunity to bring home their favorite pieces and support our New Masters!

DUTIES

  • Greeting Patrons
  • Manning the Elevator to bring artists to 4th floor
  • Selling art from PACE tablets
  • Giving small tours of the exhibit

PACE AMBASSADOR GALLERY DOCENT

Gallery Docents are expected to stay in the gallery for the entirety of their shift. Their uniform should be clean, black collared shirt and pants. Shoes should be closed-toed. They are expected to wear their Ambassador stole through the entirety of their shift. Bringing a book or quiet activity is encouraged in case of a slow day.


ATTIRE:

Please wear all black. Black shirt, shoes, and pants. Simple jewelry is fine. You will wear a blue Ambassador Stole during this shift.
