Volunteer: Holiday Miniature Gallery Docent!The Omaha-Council Bluffs Miniature Guild (OCBMG) meets on the 3rd Sunday of every month at the Lavista Community Center, 8116 Park View Boulevard, La Vista Nebraska. The OCBMG was formed in November 1978 as a National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts (NAME) charter club. Our goal is to link people of like minds in order to share our love of the hobby that captivates us. The effort of many hands, minds, and talents embodies the NAME motto: "Only through sharing can we really enjoy our treasures!" PACE AMBASSADOR GALLERY DOCENT Gallery Docents are expected to stay in the gallery for the entirety of their shift. Their uniform should be clean, black collared shirt and pants. Shoes should be closed-toed. They are expected to wear their Ambassador stole through the entirety of their shift. Bringing a book or quiet activity is encouraged in case of a slow day. ATTIRE: Please wear all black. Black shirt, shoes, and pants. Simple jewelry is fine. You will wear a blue Ambassador Stole during this shift. Volunteer: Deliver Donor Christmas Gifts!We need help delivering Christmas gifts! We've had the pleasure of working closely with PACE Studio Artist, Dan Klima, who has been hard at work making PACE-inspired handcrafted woodworking gifts! Now that they're ready to go - we need help delivering them! These shifts are very flexible, so if you can't make these specific shifts, let us know and we can adjust accordingly! During this shift, you will be given 8-10 gifts to deliver around town to these different donors. We'll give you special instructions on whether or not to knock on the door and thank them directly, or simply leave it on their porch. PACE WILL REIMBURSE YOUR GAS. If you would like to be reimbursed for the gas used on your journey, keep track of your mileage, and Eric can get you reimbursed. This will help us greatly in wrapping up 2025.
