PACE’s New Masters brings together up to 40 local artists showcasing the beauty and precision of realism. This inspiring exhibition highlights exceptional talent from across our community, offering a fresh look at classical techniques through contemporary voices. Join us for the Opening Night Reception on Friday, April 24, 2026, and be among the first to experience these stunning works, meet the artists, and celebrate the next generation of masters.

PACE AMBASSADOR GALLERY DOCENT

Gallery Docents are expected to stay in the gallery for the entirety of their shift. Their uniform should be clean, black collared shirt and pants. Shoes should be closed-toed. They are expected to wear their Ambassador stole through the entirety of their shift. Bringing a book or quiet activity is encouraged in case of a slow day.

If you love books, this is the event for you! Join us at the HOFF as we meet and read with fellow book lovers. There are no assigned readings or deadlines - you just read what you bring!

Readers of all types are welcome! Audiobook readers, please bring headphones. Tip: If you find outside noise distracting, like people entering the building, bring headphones!

There is time before and after the silent reading hour to converse or extend your reading time. Perhaps you’ll walk away with a suggestion or two for future reading.

DUTIES: 

You'll be the main greeter for the event, welcoming people into the space and giving them direction on where to go. You'll instruct them to remain quiet and respectful of the other readers. For patrons entering to not participate in the Silent Book Club, you'll request that they also remain quiet.

You'll give them instructions on how the evening will go:

6:30-7:00pm - People arrive, order drinks/food, share what they're reading 7:00-8:00pm - Quiet reading hour 8:00-8:30pm - Optional socializing, or just keep reading

Once the event concludes, you'll thank people for coming as they leave. Please take some time to ask people what they think of the event! Suggestions for next time, try to help us gauge interest in whether or not we do it again.
