Join us as a Kids' Area Supervisor for Hoff Fourth Friday and help create a fun and safe environment for children while their parents enjoy the adult activities. As a Kids' Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the children's activities, ensuring they are fed, entertained, and well-behaved throughout the event.
Responsibilities:
- Room Setup: Assist in setting up the kids' area, including arranging the art activity station, meal area, game stations, and movie corner.
- Activity Supervision: Guide and assist the children as they engage in the art activity station, helping them with materials and encouraging their creativity.
- Meal Management: Ensure that the kids receive their kid-friendly meals on time, making sure they have enough food and assisting with any needs during mealtime.
- Behavior Monitoring: Supervise the children to ensure they are playing safely, being respectful, and participating in activities. Address any behavioral issues or conflicts as they arise, ensuring a positive environment for everyone.
- Fun & Games: Facilitate fun games and activities, keeping the kids entertained and engaged. For younger children, manage the soft play area with building blocks and toys.
- Movie Time Supervision: Help transition children into the movie corner, ensuring they are comfortable and ready to relax. Supervise the area during the movie to ensure safety and calm behavior.
- Cleanup: Help tidy up the kids’ area after the event, including storing supplies, cleaning up meal areas, and ensuring the space is left in good condition.
Check-in/Check-out Procedures
- Check-in: Welcome children at the start of the event, ensuring they are checked in by a parent or guardian. Ensure all necessary forms or information are completed and that the child is signed in before they enter the activity areas.
- Check-out: At the end of the event, ensure the correct parent or guardian picks up children. Follow the check-out procedures to verify identity and ensure the safety of every child.
