Whose soup will take home the ring? SOUP-ER Bowl III pits local chefs against each other in a flavorful competition, complete with tasting, guest voting, and a very serious and extremely legitimate award ceremony for the prestigious Soup-er Bowl Champion Ring!
But wait! There’s more! You’ll get to take home your very own, hand crafted soup bowl made by our amazing local artists! Faith Hardcastle, Deanna Walz, Headyn McDowell, Joanna Kern, and Marla Schoening have hand crafted a wide variety of artisanal bowls fit for any collection.
If taking home one of our amazing hand crafted bowls isn’t what you are looking for, you can try your hand at painting your very own! The choice is yours!
By signing up for this shift, you'll be agreeing to help us ensure every patron has the opportunity to create their artistic vision. You'll need to restock paint, provide brushes, and help keep the station clean. All the while following the process for ensuring their bowls make it home!
PROCESS:
1. Ambassador greets people as they arrive. Check them in, hand them a voting card to vote for their favorite soup and bread, a contact card to contact them if they happen to leave their bowl behind, and a paper bag with the patrons name written on it so they can easily take their bowl with them through the evening or grab it on their way out.
2. A patron can either paint their own blank bowl or select a bowl from the pre-made ones. The contact card needs to be placed on the bowl, and the bowl needs to go in the bag with their name on it.
3. Once a bowl has been painted or chosen and placed in the bag, if the patron chooses not to take it with them, the bowl will go on a cart in alphabetical order.
4. The cart(s) will go down to the lobby at the end of the night for pick-up.
